Current-conducting wires and busbar wires

Current-conducting wires and busbar wires serve for electrical connection of units of main circuit units of three-phase alternating current with frequency of 50 Hz and 60 Hz, rated voltage of 0.4-35 kV, rated current of 1600-33000 A and circuit of direct current, rated voltage up to 1.2 kV, rated current 2000-6300 A. They can be used on HPP, TPP, GRES, NPP, autotransformer substations, large district heating stations, and all types of substations. Current-conducting wires are used as high and medium voltage equipment, in electrical connections of 6-35 kV, busbar wires are used at low-voltage equipment of 0.4-1.2 kV.

Current-conducting wires for electrical connection for three-phase alternating current in generators to step-up generator transformers, power house transformers and other electrical equipment of main circuits of TPP, GRES, NPP are called current-conducting wires of generating voltage.

Current-conducting wires for three-phase current connection of house transformers at power plants to switchgear and control gear cabinets at the 6-10 kV side are called own needs current-conducting wires.

By the design current-conducting wires are divided into: complete phase-screened current-conducting wires of TEKNE (P) or TZMEP type with compensated external electromagnetic field for TPP, GRES, HPP and NPP generators; current-conducting wires of TZK and TZKR type, with common sheathing for all phases that is made of steel or aluminum with inter-phase dividing partitions or without them.

Busbar wires for electrical connections of three-phase alternating current in power transformers by the voltage of 0,4 kV or 1 kV to KTPSN cabinets or another electricity distribution devices at TPP, GRES, HPP or NPP are called own needs busbar wires.

Bus bars for electrical connections of direct current in power sources with rated voltage up to 1.2 kV to operating or auxiliary generator exciter at TPP, GRES, HPP or NPP are called direct current busbar wires.
Current-conducting wires and busbar wires serve at power plants for transmission of electrical energy into the grid and its distributing at power plant among balance of plant needs consumers that take part in electric generation.
The design of our current-conducting wires and busbar wires has following advantages:

  • Have sufficient mechanical strength for transportation;
  • They are manufactured on the plant and delivered to customer with built-in accessory equipment (current and voltage transformers, aerial fuses, ground wires, bushing insulators, disconnectors, breakers etc.);
  • Made and delivered as direct straight, angle, Z-formed sections and blocks to decrease amount of erecting, assembling and welding works;
  • Have better technical and economic performance in materials consumption, losses, electrodynamics and thermal stability to short-circuit current, overall dimensions;
  • Various types and dimensions for manufacturing and delivery to electrical substations, different field of industrial enterprises, HPP, CHP, GRES, NPP;
  • Manufacturing and delivery of small-sized insulated current-conducting wires with hard synthetic insulation for capsule hydrogenerators and other power facilities according to the Customer's choice;
  • Long operating life (up to 40 years, carrying out first average repair over the 10 years of operation);
  • Corrective maintenance is minimized;
  • Climatic execution and operating class throughout the territory from cold-temperate zone to tropical and marine zones according to GOST 15150 and IEC standard;
